Helene N. Dang was born in Augusta, Maine to newly arrived Vietnamese
refugees and earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston
and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dang clerked in the Office of the Chief
Counsel of the Department of Homeland Security in Houston, Texas.
Ms. Dang handles a variety of immigration matters and has extensive
experience and knowledge of non-immigrant visa processing (H-1B, L-1,
TN, B-1, E-1 and E-2, E-3, O-1), employment-based permanent residency
(PERM labor certification, EB-1, EB-2, National Interest Waiver),
family-based permanent residency, I-9 compliance, consular processing,
as well as naturalization and citizenship issues. She is a member of the
American Immigration Lawyers Association, State Bar of Texas, Texas
Young Lawyers Association, Asian American Bar Association, Asian Chamber
of Commerce and Asia Society. She continues to be active in local
community and charitable organizations and dedicates her time to Houston
Volunteer Lawyers Program. She frequently provides presentations to
corporate clients and human resources personnel. Ms. Dang is fluent in
Vietnamese.
