John W. Meyer was born in Jackson, Michigan, March 3, 1964. He completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University (B.A. 1986) and was an honors graduate at Thomas M. Cooley law School (J.D. 1991). Mr. Meyer is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality law since 1998 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a frequent lecturer on immigration topics at local and regional conferences.

Mr. Meyer is the past liaison on consular relations with U.S. Consulates in Mexico for the Texas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Mr. Meyer is fluent in Spanish and makes frequent business trips to Mexico and Latin America. His immigration practice concentrates in the areas of business immigration law, family based immigration and consular matters.
