Kristen Quan is a native Houstonian. She graduated
with highest honors from Lamar High School. While earning her Bachelor’s
Degree from the University of Virginia, Kristen served as Director for
the Migrant Aid Program. She worked directly with Hispanic migrant farm
workers and their families and also matched student volunteers with
other families.
Upon graduation, Kristen entered AmeriCorp. She spent one year working
with children in after school programs in Houston. She was selected as
the Counselor of the Year at the end of her year of service.
Kristen furthered her education at Tulane Law School, where she earned a
Juris Doctorate Degree and Sports Law Certificate in 2004. At Tulane, she was appointed Vice
President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
Kristen is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American
Immigration Lawyers Association. She is conversant in Spanish.
